HARVEST EXPECTATION

By Patrick Neves – Eng. Agronomist

With all the difficulties that the producers encountered during times of drought, frost, hail, among others, they always worked hard without giving up hope that this critical period could pass.

These months that passed, there were countless climatic problems, where the crops were very damaged and felt. However, with the beginning of the rains, the crops began to develop, returning to cultural treatments, fertilization, weeding, thinning, leaf treatments to prevent diseases and especially the nutritional part of the crops.

We had more than one flowering this year, however, it was possible to observe the abortion of part of the flowering, mainly the crops that were more affected by climate problems. The other crops that did not go through these problems are presenting a good production expectation, thus renewing the hope that the next harvest will be more positive than the one that passed.
