As a representative of coffee production at the level of quality excellence, Coopasv seeks to show in its actions a concern that goes beyond the exported grain and the coffee grower that produces it. In a comprehensive way, the cooperative also focuses on reducing the environmental impacts caused by its activities and by the inputs that it consumes, in particular, electric energy.

In 2018, the cooperative’s first photovoltaic generation system was acquired. Computers, lighting, refrigeration and other machinery powered by real clean and renewable energy, solar energy. In this way, we show that it is possible for sustainability to be combined with economic and environmental development.
